Pacific Coast Speech Services, Inc. was founded by Louise Valente and Annette Crotty in 1987 to serve the needs of students with language learning disorders and emotional issues within school settings.   Ms. Valente and Ms. Crotty are practicing speech pathologists , and regularly step in to assist their clinicians with treatment and IEPs.   

Louise Valente (PCSS Staffing Administrator) matches a clinician's specific personal and professional skills with a school's needs.  After 25 years of working within the local school districts, she is able to carefully choose clinicians and sites that make a good "fit" politically and professionally.  She and Ms. Crotty share responsibility for making sure service quality standards are maintained, and fully support the ongoing work of our clinicians. Ms. Valente is a third generation Southern Californian.  

Annette Crotty (PCSS Financial Administrator) manages the contractual portion of our business to benefit the clinicians and schools alike.  Ms. Crotty is well versed in the regulations necessary to maintain a nonpublic agency, and has developed specific billing procedures to ensure that services are compliant and the requirements of specific schools and districts are honored.
